A trek out in the woods for the perfect tree, lots of rain and wet clothes, hot chocolate to warm up, a great day for an adventure.
They perked up and had fun on the way home.
We had three tired kids when it was all said and done. They watched A Christmas Story and were crashed in bed before we even had the lights strung. Zac and I had a nice quiet evening decorating the tree. Maybe next year kids.....
