wiww (what I wore wednesday)

wiww

I had so much fun doing this last time, and ya’ll were so nice in the comments that I had to do it again.  Also having a bit of purpose in my wardrobe, at least a few days a week, was kind of nice too.

This was ballet day, running around day, catching up on stuff day.

Top: Old Navy, thrifted (I love this shirt, love the slits in the shoulders, and the sides, love the fit, love it, love it, just love it!)

Skinny Jeans:  Macy’s clearance rack

Necklace:  made by me, copied from inspired by friend Anna

for mom

Sunday I didn’t give too much thought about my clothes, I just wanted to make sure I wore pink for my first time running in the Heaven Can Wait 5k.  It was fun, and sweaty.  And I got to eat a yummy breakfast out with my family after.  The run is for breast cancer, you can read all about here.  I ran in honor of my mom, a breast cancer survivor.

And here is my summer staple, a normal outfit that I wear as much as I can get away with every once in a while.

favorite, most comfortable ever brown skirt:  from Athleta

white top:  target?  I pick up basic white tees wherever I can find them and whenever they’re cheap.  you can never have too many white shirts, right?  at least I can’t with three mess makers, I mean children, in my house.

yoga top underneath:  REI

And here is what they wore, at least for a few minutes.  We’re getting ready for the big ballet recital next week, and just had to try them on to make sure everything fit okay.  They were sad to take them off and bag them back up…but next week they’ll be in them A LOT for pictures and dress rehearsals and two performances.

And there you have it!  Thanks for stopping in-be sure to check out Lindsay and all the other lovely ladies over at wiww.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to go figure out how to do a ballet bun!
