would you buy it? {crochet tea set}

So I made a sweet little tea set for my niece for Christmas and my husband is saying I should bust these out and sell them.

I’m thinking, really?  Would anyone really want to buy these?  I think they’re quite cute myself, but I just don’t know.

Would you?  I’m wondering…they’re really fun to make.

Maybe I could make and sell enough to buy a new washer and dryer?  Cuz our washer broke, and the pile of nasty, stinky laundry is growing at an alarming rate.  Never mind that we just bought the thing in May from craig’s list.  To replace the washer we already had but was working just fine.  Funny enough, we needed a new dryer at the time and all we could find was a set.  So we thought, “shoot dang, let’s just buy the set and sell our perfectly good but old washer.  what’s the worst that can happen?”  I guess we know the answer to that now.

So, how many would I have to sell to buy a new set anyway?

  1. Those are SO cute! Absolutely you should sell them! :) I just taught myself to crochet (I've been a knitter for years) and am not very good at it.

    Sorry to hear about your dryer. I, too, have had to learn the "Don't say it can't get any worse." lesson the hard way. Our first baby was very colicky; we thought the second COULDN'T POSSIBLE be worse. We were wrong.

    Btw, I totally LOVE your "About Me" in your sidebar. Very original and poignant. :)

  4. Hi there
    I think these are super cute. My girls are teenagers now but If I had to buy a gift for a smaller girl I would buy these. Sell them on Etsy. I bet you can make enough for a new washer and dryer. Have a great weekend

    1. Thankyou! I've thought about that, and thought about holiday boutiques....when I have more time I just might could do that :)
